North defeats South in Boys Hockey

North and South met in the Cranbrook Boys Hockey Tournament over the holiday weekend. North had 45 shots on goal and skated away with the 2-1 victory. Girls and Boys Hockey Games

Both the boys and girls Norsemen Hockey teams host home games this weekend. The boys play Detroit Catholic Central on Friday 11.16 at City Arena, 7:30 Start. GAME POSTPONED—The girls play Ladywood on Saturday 11.17 at GPCR, 4:00 Start. Go Norsemen!    

Soccer District Semi-Final, North vs South

Girls Cross Country Raises $2400 for Cancer

A big congratulations to the Girls Cross Country program who held a  Cancer Fundraiser Run / Walk and raised $2400 to donate to the American Cancer Society. Former Grosse Pointe North Athletic Director and cancer survivor Carmen Kennedy was on hand to share her story with the participants.      

Boys Soccer Defeats Romeo

The Boys Varsity Soccer team came together and outworked a solid Romeo team to earn the1-0 victory. Andrew C. scored the only goal on a penalty kick in the first half and the team played well defensively and helped George T. with a shutout. The team will play at South on Monday night, JV at

Varsity Football Team Over Fraser

The Varsity Football team defeated Fraser 46 to 9 Friday night. Both teams used this game to help raise money and awareness for cancer research. The Norsemen are now preparing for the match up against South. Go Norsemen!

North Girls Swim Update 9.27

  The Grosse Pointe North Girls Swimming and Diving Team defeated Sterling Heights Henry Ford II Thursday night by a  111- 65 margin. North Girls Golf Division Champs

The Grosse Pointe North Girls Golf team finished with a divisional record of 8-0 and claiming the MAC White Championship. North Coach Brian Stackpoole was voted as Divisional Coach of the Year.
